How TAS Can Assist
TAS sets up trainees on the online system (Edge) and does a demonstration of the system for all users to understand how to work through the system.
The system will enable the trainees to raise TSR’s, PSR’s and ANA as per the ICAZ regulations.
TAS can assist by updating the policy manual in liaison with ATO staff. The policy would detail the expected rotation requirements.
The HR policy would also need to be updated to clearly articulate the role and way people in the training programme will be treated. The HR policy would also be updated to ensure that it details the ATO procedure for training which then guides training programme champions in HR. It also clarifies the role of HR in tracking the training process.
TAS will conduct a training for the Trainees to help them understand what is expected of them from the training process. This is done in two sessions over 2 months and each session will be 4 hours long.
Trainees with prior experience may be required to submit RPL documents. We will assist in the completion of this process.
TAS will conduct a training for reviewers. It is an 8-hour training where reviewers will be taken through the ICAZ competence model.
TAS will conduct a training for evaluators. This will be a 4-hour training where evaluators will be taken through the ICAZ competence model and their role for the periodic assessment of trainees. |
TAS can also assist in the review of trainee records in liaison with the reviewers, evaluators, and assessors.
TAS can assist in tracking training records, assessing when simulations may be necessary and checking to ensure that the ATO continues to operate an effective training which delivers reputable CAs.
